This is my own little corner of the mutliverse, where I play around with cardboard miniatures & terrain (6mm a.k.a. 1:300 scale), detail my defeats (and occasional victory) playing the Epic: Armageddon war game.
Whenever I have given three minutes to ponder before a game, I always feel compelled to look at the terrain, examine the forces involved, and create some kind of back story. Some might say that would be a good time to ponder strategy, feh! I’m currently shoe-horning my battles into the Cerrus System, whose 6 planets include both an agriworld and forgeworld. Having industrial power, ample food, and strong cultural ties to a corporate-monarchy that predates incorporation into the Imperium, has led to exactly the kind of environment that foments rebellion.

Army Adder & Reference Sheet Generator (74 kb zipped) – This excel spreadsheet acts as an army builder and force roster generator for Epic Armageddon space marines, Eldar 10.83 (Biel Tann) and imperial guard. Also included are ‘in development’ builders for Orks, and Tyranid. Given my total lack any miniatures for Necrons or Chaos, I probably will never add them. Orks are probably next up for roster generation. Quick Reference Sheet (25k pdf) This is a bit more detailed version of the rules reference sheet at the end of the manual. I found it helpful when first learning the rules. I usually have a clipboard when I play with the roster (see Army Adder) on top, than these two pages underneath. |

The Bad Moons cardboard gargant from the “Epic 40,000” release of Space Marines got me going on my current cardboard sculpting gig. |

Cerrus Unionist RebellionChapter One: The Trustee’s Daughter – SM vs very green imperial guard, GT rules. Chapter Two: Eldar Calvary – The Cerrus rebels have contacted a passing Craftworld and offered to hand over a large cache of Eldar war engines (discovered at an Archaeopathic Research Dig) in return for fending off the space marine attack force. With ad hoc rules to allow two players vs. one, a 4000 pt space force squared off against 2000 pts of imperial guard and 2000 pts of eldar. I lost track of the details pretty quick, and the pix turned out bad. Warp EchoesTemplateHere is the original MSWord doc I use to do this style of battle report (~120kb) |

General LinksEpic Armageddon Website – Official site of my favorite wargame. Yahoo 6mm Miniature Group PaperWorlds – I’m not the only one playing with paper. Who the heck am I? My old professional page & my portfolio. Sources for Reference Images / Texture Maps (please don’t sue!)Specialist Games – The question is, will they give me a job? Duck Blind Miniatures – models were basis for hydra, land speeders in proxies. The Fifth Horseman – source of some graphics used in the proxy counters. He apparently got some of his graphics from Wormbo87 (aka Morgan Hastings of Austrailia). He and I always respond in the forums to the ‘where are the proxy’ queries. Miniature Art – Perhaps the single most stunningly painted epic scale space marine painting I’ve ever seen. I think it got a golden demon. Mark Conz’s wargaming site – His orc horde images are downright inspiring. Ironhands – You
can do better scratch built modeling than me, but you cannot do better
